The award for the RTU Scientist of the Year and for the Young Scientist of the Year has been allocated since 2006. The honorary title encompasses annual evaluation of the amount of scientific publications, participations in conferences, the number of supervised Master’s and Doctoral theses, the amount of the funding attracted for RTU, as well as numerous other achievements and organizational work performed in scientific events and institutions.
